Description

We will teach how our innate Neurobiological responses can keep us from truth telling. We will share Mind-body Skills, specifically Movement and Mindfulness to shift those responses to a balance of listening and expressing. The participants will be led in a writing exercise to explore truth telling and what needs to be told. Non verbal expressions will also be introduced, allowing expression by allowing free form drawings to emerge to verbal prompts. Sharing these experiences in small groups allow co regulation in community to support listening and expression in a verbal manner, if the participant so chooses. Expression though movement also will be facilitated. Free choice in participating and sharing will be supported.
