We are a multi-cultural, inter-generational team of 5, working to advance the mission of YWCA Minneapolis (eliminating racism and empowering women) through our racial justice and public policy work that includes community engagements and consulting services for local organizations.The first half of the session will be in narrative format as facilitators share their experiences building relationships and establishing an intentional, psychologically safe culture as a racial justice and public policy team. Next we will model at least two activities with participants that they can take back to their teams. Finally, we will be sharing a number of additional tools and resources we’ve engaged in to build and sustain a strongly inclusive culture on our team.
