Erika Nesvig, has been an educator for 26 years. She has experience as an elementary teacher, elementary principal and middle school principal. This fall she is transitioning from being the principal at Eagle Ridge Middle School in Savage, Minnesota to the principal at Newby Elementary in McMinnville, Oregon. Ms Nesvig has led professional development sessions on literacy in the elementary, creating schoolwide AVID and Culturally Proficient School Systems (CPSS). Ms Nesvig leads with an equity lens which focuses on creating systems that take down barriers for students and allows all students the opportunities to excel.
