Brad Ward is a Teaching & Learning Coordinator leading Educational Equity and Engagement at Forest Lake Area Schools. Brad facilitates the district’s Achievement and Integration Program and Budget working with district families, students and community members. Brad also leads educational equity professional development for new teachers, the district’s equity leaders along with facilitating family experience meetings. A lifelong learner, Brad is in the final stages of his dissertation at the University of Minnesota where he’s looking closely at schools that have closed the opportunity gap. Brad is an advocate for students and families as they seek equitable experiences in the classrooms, hallways and common spaces.
