Mirabai Dornfest is a second-year undergraduate within the University of Minnesota Honors Program, currently pursuing a double major in Sociology and Jewish Studies. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Mirabai is a Peer Advisor within the Rev. Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. program at UMN. Working within the program, she helps further outreach, student advocacy, engagement, and activism. Mirabai intends to pursue a career focused around community, studying abroad and weaving Jewish philosophy with social sciences to better understand the shifting ground of the modern world. She enjoys night walks, adding far too many spices to food, and thrifting strange decorations.
