Margaret Rozycki is an artist and educator. She co-created: Puppets Against Racism (PAR), an organization that included a puppet show, American Pie, which shows how racism was created in the U.S. by dividing Blacks and whites to protect the power of wealthy whites; a curriculum based on the same history as the show, which looks at policies that could make this country a place of liberty and justice for all; an art residency for students to create their own shows on racism; and a Dismantling Racism workshop that uses different art forms for people to dialogue and educate themselves about racism and anti-racism work. Margaret was an art teacher in the public schools and developed curriculum that had an emphasis on artists of color.
