Jerad Green (he/him) is a husband, father, brother, son, a basketball fanatic, and music enthusiast. He is a Black, disabled, heterosexual, cisgender, class straddling, man of size. He is also an experienced diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practitioner and currently serves as the Director of Equity and Inclusion for Children and Family Services at the Minnesota Department of Human Services.  His racial justice and anti-oppression work began as an undergraduate student interning with the YWCA, FREC, Brotherhood Inc., and Ramsey County Human Services. That work led him into a formidable career in higher education, and more recently government, where he leads strategic work and initiatives for a greater impact on the Twin Cities community and state of Minnesota.  Jerad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Winona State University and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Outside of work, he is a member of FREC's Conference Program Committee, a board member for the African American Academy for Accelerated Learning, a board member of the Winona State University Alumni Advisory Board, a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and a Josie R. Johnson Leadership Academy Alumni.
