Daniel (he, him) was born and educated in Chile, and then immigrated to the U.S. to pursue graduate degrees. He is interested in critical literacies, critical pedagogies, access to higher education and social justice education. He currently works as an interim assistant director of inclusive classroom climate at the Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence at the University of Minnesota.
