SIDA LY-XIONG uses participatory methods to foster learning communities that lead by example. Sida’s work is an artful combination of evaluation, engagement and equity. Her conversational style of facilitation encourages a learning environment. In partnership with a national health foundation, Sida currently hosts monthly webinars that boosts community leadership. Over the last 15 years, Sida has worked to create inclusive processes that informs decisions, raises accountability, and enables leaders. She focuses her efforts with organizations intentionally advancing equity.
Ly-Xiong Consulting was launched in 2010 to support agencies with community-informed program development, equity policy analysis, and growth mindsets. Sida has also presented highly-rated, interactive workshops at the Overcoming Racism Conference every year since 2014. Sida earned a bachelors degree from Macalester College and a master of science in science, technology and environment policy from the University of Minnesota - Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
