This workshop will explore the history of white women being used as weapons specifically against black men, and how that history is enacted today through ‘white women tears’ and ‘Karens.’ We will move from history to how White Women can use this awareness to be an accomplice and ally today.

Through analysis of the history, and how it presents today, we will explore how white women have specifically been weaponized to regulate black bodies and what spaces they occupy. We will have interactive group work to discuss ways to use 'our inner Karen' to serve as an ally and accomplice to the very bodies originally weaponized against.
