Lisa has been a community-based trainer and educator for the last 15 years. She currently trains activists in a human-rights based advocacy method developed by the New Tactics in Human Rights program at the Center for Victims of Torture. She has used social justice curriculum in her work as a trainer at the Saint Paul Neighborhood Network’s AmeriCorps program, the Community Technology Empowerment project, and as an educator at the Twin Cities Daily Planet, a citizen journalism newspaper.
