Jamie Utt-Schumacher (He/Him) is committed to cultivating cross-identity solidarity and community through an intersectional racial justice praxis. He currently serves as the Unit Leader at Augsburg University's Education Department, and he is a doctoral candidate in Teaching, Learning, and Sociocultural Studies at the University. His research and activism focuses on the racist and racialized impacts of police in schools and the impacts of White teacher self-concepts of race on their teaching practices.
