Description

It’s important to understand our own identities and perceptions in this complex social, political, and economic climate. This session will provide an opportunity to draft an actionable antiracist statement that will empower us to be effective advocates and allies for those from oppressed and repressed communities.

This workshop will incorporate a variety of activities to engage participants with the content. These will include:
 * Slidedeck with lecture (theory, evidence-based examples, images)
 * Visioning writing exercise
 * Small group discussions
 * Self-assessment/reflection 
 * Facilitated brainstorming 
 * Handouts
