Tracey Hammell (she/her/hers) has worked in higher education since 2000 and has been at the University of Minnesota since 2010. Her interests within higher education include equity and campus climate, understanding each student's unique experiences, and creating supportive academic environment that connects academics to career and life for all students. Tracey has also been engaged in University governance for the past three years focusing on communications as a means for advocacy in advancing change for workers.

Tracey has previously presented two other times at the Overcoming Racism Conference on topics of microaggressions and white supremacy. She is looking forward to engaging in conversation around how an individual can create an antiracist environment within systems that are resistant to change.
