Colored Lines - A Story of Race in Itasca County The Grand Rapids-based Community Action Team has spent the two and a half years screening and facilitating conversations about the locally produced film, Colored Lines. The film explores challenges faced by black, Indigenous, and people of color living, working and going to school in the Itasca area. The group has been listening, learning and adapting as they work to support a more welcoming community. CAT members Carolyn Eck, Joan Gunderman, Isaac Meyer and Becky LaPlant will be facilitating a screening experience for conference participants and sharing some of their learnings too.
